  • From rural Wisconsin roots to mountainous adventures in Colorado, with big city Chicago dreams in between, my life has been filled with rich experiences. These have provided me with a relatable perspective to connect with many different types of people and small businesses.

At 14 years old I started working in the service industry. Little did I know this first job, of steaming hot dog buns and roller skating out to cars, would lay a solid foundation to a career dedicated to client service.

I entered college at the University of Wisconsin, Madison as a Mathematics Major, but left four years later with a Bachelors in Sociology, with a lot of Psychology and Philosophy courses sprinkled in - talk about spanning the entire left-brain/right-brain spectrum! But as I look back, this checks out. I have always had a healthy mix of methodical, analytical, creative and intuitive traits.

I spent most of my twenties going to concerts and dancing through Chicago. I started my career and family there, and established a support system with some of the best friends a girl could ask for.

In 2019, my husband and (then) one year old daughter made the fateful decision to move to the mountains - a lifelong dream come true!

Currently, I live outside of Denver with my husband, daughter, son and our Siberian cat, Rizzo.

  • My career took off at Catalina Marketing where I worked as a Media Consultant for some of the world’s leading CPG manufacturers. I then moved to a role at Nielsen and continued to assist numerous Fortune 500 companies with their marketing strategies and advised them, using data and analytics, how to spend and maximize their marketing dollars. My time at Catalina and Nielsen taught me the fundamentals of marketing and the importance of knowing who your target audience is and how to find them. I learned that some of my most valuable skill sets included client service, selling by teaching and interestingly enough, self-learning and mastering software programs.

But through my successes, I yearned for more, something more meaningful, fulfilling, and personal. I have never been career driven, but rather purpose driven, and I knew in the depths of my soul the corporate career path was not for me. I spent the better half of a decade using data and analytics to inform clients how to best market their brands, but ultimately decided to leave my corporate career when I became a mother in 2017.

It was around this time that I learned when you are ready to listen, the universe shows up for you in incredible ways.

After my daughter was born, I was fortunate to have time to tap into my creative talents. A friend was looking to build a website for her artwork and I offered to help. As a self-taught WIX user, I built a decent, functional website for her business and actually enjoyed doing it. Over the next few years I continued building sites for friends and family, mostly as favors and to keep myself busy. It wasn’t until I was asked to work on a new site at the end of 2020 that I started to see this hobby as a potential new work path forward. It was the perfect combination of universal signs, timing and introduction to Squarespace that fueled this newfound passion.

I officially started Rise Up Web Design mid-2021. In my first year of operating business, I completed 9 new websites, across various industries, and became a recognized Squarespace Circle Member.

The part of running this business that brings me the highest joy is meeting new people who are passionate about what they do, and getting to play a part in building their business’s success. I strive to work with other like minded individuals that are bringing their unique skill sets to light and building businesses based on helping and lifting others up - whether that be through service, art or nourishment. I feel as though I have finally found my purpose and I’m thrilled to share my services with those in need!

  • If I’m not designing websites, you’ll find me laughing with my husband, goofing off with my toddlers, dancing to live music, snowboarding in the mountains, daydreaming about my next international trip or researching a new recipe to whip up in the kitchen. I also run a successful Etsy shop where I make and sell lyrical home decor!

I love engaging in cosmic conversations that question the meaning of life, contemplating our purpose on Earth, and relishing in all the beautiful moments we get to share together in this blip of time.

Most importantly, I am passionate about making meaningful and impactful connections with others. When we come from a place of having a true desire to nurture, and allow the space to learn from others, that’s when the magic happens!

  • I base my success on your satisfaction! My promise to all clients is to approach every project with integrity and compassion. Most of the business owners I work with know little about web design. I work hard to make sure you’re comfortable with the process every step of the way. I always follow through on my commitments and your project will not be considered complete until you are 100% confident in your design.
